What kind of support does this service offer?

The Bankstown Domestic Violence Service (BDVS) is a casework program that assists adult and child victims of domestic violence with support to escape and recover from the abuser. We support each client based on their needs.

This service can support you with:

  • identifying your needs and goals
  • talking with you about a safety plan you feel comfortable with
  • emotional support
  • supporting you through the court processes for family law matters, criminal matters and domestic violence matters
  • referring your partner to an appropriate support service
  • information and referral to services you need, such as counselling, support groups, victims support services.

Our services are free and confidential. We are here to support you in a non-judgmental environment.
